The late Wendy Wright schooled me (and a couple of other people). Wendy was a well-known clairvoyant and medium- and much more besides, who developed her spiritual gifts that became apparent when she was a little girl.

We cleared places and people of unnatural energy/negativity/evil full-time for 5-6 years from 1999, learning every day about sensing and eliminating unnatural vibrations, witchcraft, earthbound spirits (ghosts), entities from places and people.

No, the things I just mentioned are not in the mind. If that were the case, we would not have been so busy, not had such success in helping people/ places. We never failed to clear a place- we guaranteed that (if our conditions were adhered to). What cannot be guaranteed is that a possessed person does not, because of his or her free will, become possessed again, unfortunately

We worked with prayer and determination. We were humbled and grateful that God allowed us to be the instruments for what, for us, were most often miracles.

The work was exhilarating and a reward in itself, but we found that people’s expectations were sometimes skewed- one of the main reasons we stopped. An example was a woman calling to thank Wendy for getting rid of what was holding her son down at night- then asking her to do something about his exam results (he had already written the exams).

We stopped, Wendy has since passed over, but the work never really stopped. It just wasn’t in the public domain.

I have, in my years as a travel writer, cleared many places without anyone knowing, until I became bold enough to tell the patrons. Whether they were bemused of not, I felt they should know, since the guesthouse/ lodge etc. would feel better and may attract more visitors.

I was anxious about the kind of attention starting this channel might attract- negative attention. I’ve had an email account hacked and that was stressful enough. And, I had a fairly good idea that worse people than that could target me.

As it happened, it was witchcraft sent my way that prompted me to go ahead.

Years ago, after a long and undefined illness had affected me (my doctor was at a loss after various tests showed nothing amiss and was about to admit me to hospital for further investigations), a guide informed me of its origin- witchcraft from someone in my workplace.

I felt a right twit, since I had many of the symptoms I had seen affecting people over the years. Lesson learned I felt. Then, while I was ruminating about this step, I became ill again and- long story short, it was the same lot. I really should say thank you because it taught me a lot and made me realise that having a YouTube channel/ website etc. or not made no difference. Haters gonna hate and all that.

Also, at the same time I was practicing what you might call mental healing on people- usually without their knowledge. But the accuracy of my feedback for those I did talk to was an inspiration- to me at least- and it has led to clearing some nasties from some people and places remotely- England and New Zealand for example. I reckon there would be power from God to clear most people in today’s stressful climate

Symptoms, Why, What, Who

So, what are the symptoms and why do they occur? Who is affected?

There’s no one size fits all, but I’ll try to break it down into having an earthbound spirit- a ghost if you like- in premises and witchcraft or possession. There are overlaps and, of course, not all such symptoms can be attributed to spooks and the like.

Also, it’s not generally unaware, switched off people that are affected. Earthbound spirits are often, in a dim way, seeking help or attention and such people would not do, would they? They are drawn to sensitive people- often children- as if they are a light in the dark. For the same reason, earthbound spirits are often found in churches and other places that people gather.

By far the most common symptom for people in a haunted place is headaches- pressure headaches around the head. Associated with that are memory loss, distractedness and irritability- relationships within a place are negatively affected.

The reason for this- and other symptoms- is because earthbound spirits shouldn’t be sticking around. There is somewhere they should go. There are various reasons why they are bound to this plane of existence, but the result is a build-up of negative energy.

Earthbound spirits are kinda lost and want attention, Entities too, but in a more malevolent way. Generally, the longer an earthbound spirit is stuck, the worse the energy and the more severe the symptoms.

I’ll run through some more: Patches of cold air; bad smells; sharp sounds just as people are going to sleep- tapping in the roof or cupboard too; waking up tired no matter how long they’ve slept. People are sometimes pinned, immobile and unable to call out, at night (not sleep apnea!). I know all too well. That’s what prompted me to get started. Prayer helps, as difficult as it might be to pray.

People often feel much better away from home- and get on better with each other too. And, also, other people may be put off those in a haunted house cos that bad energy rubs off. Many things- small or big, become more difficult. Some call it being blocked- 1 step forward, 3 steps back.

We’ve encountered many women who have had laparoscopies for a very specific pulling pain. Ghost (excuse the pun) pregnancies too, and marks on the face and around the eyes.

Once a place and its occupants are cleared, the symptoms cease. Communication and relationships improve and people wake up in first gear. Previously blocked opportunities often present themselves, thinking become clearer, and far sighted.

Witchcraft, in the main, affects the targeted individual and others, or the place where the affected person is, is not affected in the same way.

Possession

Similarly, when someone becomes possessed. Such people are, for the most part, affected wherever they are. Their lives are diminished, though they often have power, or hold sway over, their family. Why and how people become possessed is complex and it’s really such a personal thing that I feel that whatever I say will be a gross generalisation.

Some have little sense of self, or character, and allow themselves to become possessed to gain something. On the other hand, some are strong characters- an attractive host one might say. We all have free will, unless we hand it over.

Some are institutionalised and, once they are medicated, seem fine, because they may be of no use to a malevolent entity in that state. Once off meds, that may change.

Faith and free will really come into play here, as they should for all of us.

Who performs witchcraft? A close friend was aghast that such nasty people exist. Well, they do. The guide, when telling me about the witchcraft on me, was pretty explicit. “Think of yourself as a voodoo doll that is being poked” he said. This was premeditated and calculated to destroy me.

Why? Apparently, I had or have some quality the person wants or is envious of and, not able to have that or get that from me- and not willing to attain that, the person acted. Eish! There are two forces- love and fear. That person does not work with love of course and follows what I will call the left-hand path (sorry lefties- you are discriminated in terms of common usage). I was appraised of the deleterious effect that had already had on that person. Nuff said about that.

What possesses people? Earth bound spirits or other, malevolent non-corporeal entities. I’ve explained a bit about earthbound spirits. Some, frustrated and worse, can become itchy for more control within the unnatural state that they find themselves in and controlling a person will do nicely, thanks.

A quick search led me to More Things in Heaven and Earth: Spirit Possession, Mental Disorder, and Intentionality,  a pretty in-depth study which may interest you. The link is below. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10912-018-9519-z

We don’t help possessed people unless they ask for help themselves- all too often concerned or terrified family asked instead. It doesn’t work like that. They have to help us to help them. They have to want to change and, believe me, many don’t, unfortunately.

Many will say that all this is in the mind- and that such minds are weak etc. That no such things exist, or that they would never be affected. I have heard all this. We were often challenged, or accused of nefarious doings.

People are fearful about things outside the norm- something I refer to all the time. I’m not a weak minded, susceptible person- naïve perhaps- and for some of the things I have witnessed or been party to to be imaginary would take some incredible mass hypnosis of some sort. And, I have yet to be hypnotised. I volunteered once for hypnotherapy. Nada.

Some of the events would have fitted bizarre movie scenes- such as two people in a healing space being cleared of possession at the same time. One, a petite young woman, tied with Velcro to a specially reinforced metal frame chair, with three strong men holding it in one place as a man’s voice boomed “You won’t find me!” Hatched and dispatched I’m happy to say.

Just as memorable was not recognising someone who came for a follow up a week after such a clearing. She was transformed, as if a light had been turned on inside. Dark blotches on her face and dark circles around her now sparkling eyes were gone. Her body spoke a completely different, lovely language.

That always makes me think: No man can take away the victory another man has over himself.

Be strong. You are a child of God.

We naturally never guarantee fortune or good behaviour from family members. We were created with free will by God and are each responsible for making our own way. We are all limited by the laws of cause and effect or karma.

We help anybody that believed that God could help them. And that’s not everyone. What God, whose God? Suffice to say we met Muslims more Christian than many Christians, extremely kind Hindus and gracious people from all walks of life. One’s religion is unimportant. To me, religion is all too often what gives faith a bad name.

On that note, here’s something that we give to all we help, entitled…

Be Positive

All religions agree on one thing for the very first time on earth- that we live in the WORST time the earth has ever known.

Yet what do we do about it?

We are all sometime surrounded by bad people and evil forces. We all have to work to counteract this. Buddha said, “Do not think lightly of good or evil. Drop by drop your bucket is filled”. Life is a series of choices. You choose whether your bucket is filled with good or bad.  If misfortune befalls you, it does not mean your bucket is suddenly filled with evil. Work to be strong. You can.

The easy way is often the evil way. Each good or bad thought you have makes you into the person you are today. With all things in life, what you put in has everything to do with what you get out so, apart from carefully choosing, what goes into the attitude or approach is terribly important. We are not here on earth by chance. We have to learn through good or bad or even terrible hardships and pain and suffering. We are only here to grow and become better for God.

We see so many people who do everything carefully and correctly, yet are not positive in their approach. Very often they are pious people, praying and regularly attending religious services. Very often they are learned and sophisticated. However, their lives do not seem to work out, God does not work properly in their efforts because, although they believe in God, He does not have the correct place in their lives, in their hearts and therefore does not work through them so that they are enriched. Being holy is not always being spiritual.

We ask everything of God yet He asks nothing of us except that we realise Him more in our lives- in all things- and get closer to Him. That is for us to do. God is always with us- we have but to recognise that. God is not merely a distant, external force, but is within us. Yet many, when they pray, are asking God to do everything for them as if God is somebody you can employ- as if God or the world owes then good fortune.

Look back in your life. What did you learn from the most? The answer will be: the time in your life when you endured suffering well and this made you strong. We always have a choice- to act positively in a bad situation or to become bitter, blaming God or anyone else.

The mind is the most powerful and precious thing in the universe. When you feel down go to somebody you know who will cheer you up. Don’t hide and wallow in your depression. Be strong. Learn to have good thoughts and then follow up on them. Be responsible to God, then yourself, then others.

Everyone knows that what you do in your life comes back to you. When you act or speak, ask yourself, “Would I be doing this if God was in the room?”. Well, He is!

Earlier I mentioned that we guaranteed that places would stay cleared if our conditions were met. These were, or are: that everyone who lives in a house, or on an affected property, is present when we visit. We clear everyone and, in doing that, assess if there’s anyone affected to the extent that we need to see them for what we call a top-up.

Also, judging by what we sense, or pick up, we may have some specific instructions for certain people.

So, how would this work if, for example, someone needed help from another country. First class tickets and nice accommodation would be lovely… haha.

I mentioned already that I cleared several places that I reviewed as a travel writer- and people and places overseas. One was a 15th century house in High Wycombe, England. I knew the owners’’ daughter, who lived elsewhere but was aware of the spooky symptoms in the house. Her parents weren’t at all involved but the house got cleared. Skype was great for video verification.

I helped people I know in New Zealand- and people they know. I’m in regular comms and their home has stayed cleared. They do, however, seem to attract others that need help.

People have asked me to refer them to someone else- as if there’s a global ghostbusting network. Maye there is, I don’t know. I only know how I/we work and am not sure I’d be comfortable recommending someone else, even if I did know of other. Why? I mean I get that that may sound a little close minded.

Well, I work with my brother. Unusually, we are not only blood family but are also part of the same group soul- I’ll explain about group souls elsewhere.

He has assisted/ helped out a group with exorcisms and, well, I wasn’t exactly sold on their modus operandi. Call me set in my ways, but the way we work works- and requires focus and trust in whoever is alongside. It’s a close-knit thing.
